‘Funny Brummie Pictures’ – paintings reflecting the funny side of the city of Birmingham .

My Art Markets start back in March 2023. I will be having a stall on a monthly basis at Kings Heath Farmers’ Market every first Saturday of the month 9 am to 2 pm and at Moseley Art Market every last Saturday at the month 9 am to 3 pm. I will also be selling my pictures at Edgbaston Artisan Market Greenfield Crescent on certain second Saturdays of the month.

Welcome to my website where you can view and order my pictures about my home city of Birmingham. As well as purchasing on line you can buy from one of my market stalls. Some people have bought several pictures and have their own little collection which look good together because of their homogeneous style and subject matter.

My pictures also make ideal surprise gifts for people who have left Birmingham (how dare they!) and need to be reminded of its charms. My work has found its way to the four corners of the earth – China, Australia, California, Africa, Acocks Green … that’s five? . On my market stalls my pictures are presently priced at £20 for a mounted A5 size print (small), fits a 10 x 8 inch frame (in a frame £25) or £30 for a mounted A4 print(medium), fits a 40 x 30 cm frame (framed £40). All are signed on the back of the print which is on 300 gsm weight paper. I also sell Limited Edition of 100 prints of my paintings A3 size (large)which is the size of the original painting for £55 in mount and £70 framed. As well as a practicing artist I teach art to adults. I have 3 classes running at present at Kings Heath Park / Cartlands Tearooms Monday afternoons (Improvers/Experienced) 1 pm to 3 pm, Thursday mornings (Improvers) 11.30 am to 1.30 pm and (Improvers/Beginners) 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
